How Safe is Your Success? Part four of eight.

Garden. Most Net users are at least aware there are hazards "out there", but few appreciate the genuine extent of those risks, the probable effects, or the best, most effective and least pricey methods of countering them. This series is designed to at least provide some helpful awareness of the situation. Sadly , many of us who do appreciate the necessity for such precautions fail to make a crucial excellence one which leaves them exposed to threats they by mistake believe they are protected against. You see, whilst a good anti virus program can detect and deal with many variations on the virus / trojan / worm theme, it can not handle all variations. It is beyond the remit of this short article to dig into the differences between pathogen, trojan, worm, spyware and adware neither is an appreciation of the features of each important to effectively combat them. The implementation problems concerned me significantly because this was a book targeted precisely at training and defending non-experts, so solutions that were complicated to carry out and / or maintain and / or use were not satisfactory.
